Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is half-Spanish, and half-English woman. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descendant is also her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy has Spanish and English ancestral roots. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. She lived with her family living in Buenos Aires from the time she reached the age of six up until the day they left for Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy admitted that moving was traumatic and that she was unable to go back to school in English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy is a child actor who knew she would become an actor. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
