LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The nickname is King James he is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. The decision to quit Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent actions in sports history.
