Gunn was most well-known as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking drama. she was nominated for an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series for her performance, winning both 2013 and 2014. In August 2013 she wrote a piece of an opinion piece in The New York Times that focused on the negative reaction of the public towards her character.
