Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Most famously, she is known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and starred in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson was her artist younger sister. The father of her is Jewish and her mother educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up in a Reform synagogue in Alabama.
